Down to eight
Look, this is probably the smallest class I’d ever attended. We started off with a group of 11 but then people began to drop out of the class until there’re only 9 persons left! Can you imagine what’s going to be like conducting a lecture with only nine students in your class throughout the whole sem? But it seemed like some people just can’t accept the lecturer's way of teaching. And the assignment he’d given us is definitely so unacademical. I personally think that his strategy was way too radical for us especially under our exam-orientated education system. You just can’t expect to change people’s mindset in such a short time when they’re so used to the old set of rules! So I guess from now on I just have to get enough sleep before going to class. Why? Because the last thing I wanted to do is to doze off in his class because there’s no way you can get away with that if the class is soooo small and that you’ll probably have to sit in the front row of the lecture hall. That was indeed so “face-to-face” huh?

Hey, girl! i feel you on a class with such few students'. Awwhhh sorry, guess u jus gotta get used to it.
And yeah, you need some sleep badly, you can't dare sleep in there coz u'll be soo bursted..lols
All the best though give it your best shot. What class is it?ope you can make some fun with time.

I've only been in one class that small, but it had a lot of practical stuff and moving around, so it was intentional.

Is the class still boring? I know I would be bored to death if I have to listen to lecture and can't escape from it especially if no breaks in between.

CK: Well, it actually turned out to be not as bad as i thought. Maybe because it's more practical-based, so there's actually a lot of group discussions, presentations & stuff. And yup, we do have a break in the middle of the lecture. And, guess what, i just thought i'm starting to enjoy the class & we're having fun!
Anyway, thanks for dropping by, CK. =)

Discussion, discussion and discussion that's all these classes do. What's so practical about discussions? Oh, sorry, don't mean to spoil your fun in that class.

Hehe..Erm..the course is all about corporate social responsibility & philanthropy. So basically what we do for our coursework is raising fund for the disabled students and getting donations from private companies. And that's what we're discussing about all the time. :)

Ooh...your course sounds very interesting. Do you have to do in groups like a project team? I have experience working in groups. Sometimes I enjoy it sometime it is really difficult when people give the group problems. So how can you solve this problem. But your course sounds practical and actually quite fun.
