The Consequences of failing 2 say NO - Part I

Got a call from BW to have dinner in Kayu. Didn't see her since the past few months. Thought it was another one of the usual chit chat thing with ex-classmate from former high school. So i agree without hesitation. However things seemed to be going out of my expectation;
BW offered to give me a ride since my sis took the car out already. Below is (roughly) the conversation we've had from the moment i got into her car.

me: Ei, hi there...how r u doing lately..
BW: Gr8! You know what, my dad's restaurant is closing out. And now i don't have to help out in the restaurant anymore!!
me: Wow! Guess you must be glad to have the time for yourself?
BW: Hmmm..you certainly can put it that way.
me: Oh...

[Silence]
BW: How's your sis now? Has she fully recover yet? [note: she means from the road accident a few months back]
me: Yeah, I think so..except for the scar. Gotta have another reconstruction surgery in December.
BW: I know some kinda stuff that can make those scars disappear.
me: What? Natopherol??Vitamin E?
BW: Nope.. niu chu ru.
me: Pardon? niu what?Chinese herbs?
BW: No lah..niu chu ru. Some kinda health product. Effective for healing scars.
me: *Shrug* Oh...
[Another silence]
